Did you know that the #1 fear in the world isn’t the fear of falling or the fear of spiders?

It’s the fear of public speaking.

Talking in front of a crowd, or sometimes even just a few individuals, gives the average person immense anxiety. But, being a good networker is one of the best soft skills you can possess, no matter which industry you work in.

The purpose of networking is to gain connections with others to build relationships, which in turn – could open the door to many opportunities.

Through the power of effective networking, paired with a sprinkle of confidence, a strong work ethic, and a solid elevator pitch, Nicole Rosania opened doors for herself that have shaped her life. It’s allowed her to land a dream internship in college that eventually led to 2 more and a full-time position, a comped cruise collab through her travel blog, and too many free stays at hotels to count.

Even as a small creator and young professional, she’s been able to work with brands she thought she’d never get a response from.
Keeping your “pitch” in your back pocket and having the confidence to use it appropriately is the key to self-advancement, and this session is going to teach you how to do it.

Join us to learn…

  • How to determine your top strengths
  • How to craft the perfect elevator pitch
  • Tools you need to network with
  • How to leverage your experiences to land your first collaboration / opportunity
  • How to follow-up like a pro

About our speaker: Nicole Rosania

Nicole Rosania (@nrosania) was on a school trip in Italy when, at 15-years-old, she first told herself that one day, she’d get paid to see the world. Less than 4 years later, Nicole was sent to the Dominican Republic as a summer intern to assist a professional video team with a content shoot… and got paid to do it! Since then, she’s held numerous positions at global organizations, such EF Education First and Save the Children, created and published a travel podcast and blog, scaled her website from 0 readers to over 13,000 unique monthly visitors, and collaborated with countless brands, hotels, and tourism boards around the world on her Instagram @nicole.rosania as a small creator.

Nicole has now been to more than 40 countries and most of the states in the US, with the goal of completing her 50 states challenge before she turns 25 this summer. After graduating with a Communications degree in 2020 from Fairfield University, Nicole attended the College of Charleston to pursue her MBA in Marketing. She now works her dream job as the Content and Social Media Manager for EF Education First (Gap Year), and yes – she now gets paid to see the world.

Nicole hopes to educate others about the power of networking and confidence so they can too.
