Are you the kind of traveler who has thought about turning your years of travel knowledge into a successful travel blog?

Maybe you got back from some life-changing travels only to return to a boring and mind-numbing office job — far from what you’re used to experiencing on the road. If you could make money off of a travel blog, you would never have to stop traveling and maybe even get paid to travel, right?

But what does it actually take to create a successful travel blog? It can be easy to become discouraged in your new travel blogging pursuit when you think about all the back-end knowledge and logistics that are required, on top of trying to stand out amongst the thousands of bloggers that are out there.

At this virtual event, you’ll learn from Nomadic Matt himself and what he’s learned from 15 years of travel blogging. He’s had so many success over the last decade an a half …as well as so many failures. And as Bill Gates famously said, “It’s fine to celebrate success, but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.

Matt will share his most helpful tips to save you time, energy, and money so you can build a successful blog on your terms.

Join us to learn…

  • Why being first isn’t a prerequisite
  • How to pushing past perfection as well as setbacks
  • How and why to treat your blog like a business
  • That there’s more than one way to do it

—and much, much more.

Featured speaker: Matthew Kepnes

Matt Kepnes (@nomadicmatt) is the founder of Nomadic Matt and this community: The Nomadic Network. After a trip to Thailand in 2005, Matt decided to quit his job, finish his MBA, and head off into the world. His original trip was supposed to last a year. A decade and a half (and nearly 100 countries) later, he is still out roaming the world. He scuba dived in Fiji, was a poker player in Amsterdam, taught English in Thailand, got lost in a jungle in Central America, and broke down in the middle of Australia’s outback.

He’s the author of many books, most notably the New York Times bestseller, How to Travel the World on $50 a Day. His writings and advice have been featured in the New York Times, The Guardian, Lifehacker, Budget Travel, Time, Yahoo! Finance, countless other publications, and on CNN and the BBC. He also regularly speaks at travel trade and consumer shows, and leads group tours worldwide. He is also the founder of the travel media school, Superstar Blogging, and the TravelCon travel media conference. When not trekking the world, he lives in Austin.
