Full datetime event:Saturday, April 18, 2020From 13:00 to 15:00
54 Rue Greneta
DescriptionTime for a worldwide potluck in Paris!
I know we at The Nomadic Network usually do "meet & greets", however, this April we're hosting a "MEET & EAT" in Paris.
Like to cook?
Enjoy trying new foreign foods?
Want to connect with other travel lovers?
What's more fun than trying new foods with new travel friends? Prepare to eat dishes from around the world together. Bring a dish that's enough for 4-6 people to share. Bring travel stories to tell. We'll connect as we feast on foods from around the world.
We'll provide some food and drinks - but the best part about this meetup is that we all get to contribute and bring foods we love from around the globe. We can't wait to try some of your favorite dishes.
See you soon,
Stephen & The Nomadic Network team
What is THE NOMADIC NETWORK (TNN)?
It's our newest initiative and is a global community of travel enthusiasts who support, connect, educate, and inspire one another to travel better, cheaper, and longer (created by me, Nomadic Matt). We strive to provide our fellow travelers with the tools, resources, tips, and knowledge to enable them to confidently plan global adventures. We encourage and eagerly share our global know-how with others. We do this with these local TNN chapter meet-ups in cities across the world that provide time for you to meet and connect with other travelers. Whether you're planning a short jaunt to a nearby city or an indefinite round-the-world trip, The Nomadic Network is here to help the world travel — one nomad at a time.
*You can register for free here: thenomadicnetwork.com/
Are there ID or minimum age requirements?
No, this event is open to travelers of all ages. However, if you want to drink alcohol, you'll have to bring your ID.
Are drinks included?
We will provide some food and drinks. Bring a dish to share with 4-6 people so we can all enjoy the foods that you love!
What can you bring into the event?
1. A person! Your ticket comes with a +1 so bring a friend who loves to travel or just wants to learn more about the whole "travel thing" that you do!
2. Your favorite foreign food! Bring a dish to share with 4-6 people so we can all enjoy the foods that you love!
Will there be photos or videos taken at the event?
Yes, so if you do not want to be in photos/videos, let us know when you walk in! These photos might be used to help promote future events for Nomadic Matt and The Nomadic Network.
Will Nomadic Matt be there?
The Nomadic Network is a community initiative for the travelers in your area to meet and connect with each other. Matt will not be present at every event for The Nomadic Network (including this one). The amazing Paris Chapter Leader, Stephen, will be running the event.
Where is this event taking place?
It's at myCowork Montorgueil, which is a coworking space designed to make you feel at home. It's centrally located in Paris, has light-filled, airy rooms, and office facilities that will help you get the most out of your working day. You're able to go for an hour, a day, or become a long-term resident. This space is flexible and has a sister coworking space nearby called myCowork Beaubourg. This is an ideal place to work if you're a remote worker, working on a blog, are an entrepreneur, or need a place to study (or plan your future trips!). More details: mycowork.fr/en/.
What's the refund policy?
You can get a refund until 7 days before the event. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org. Eventbrite processing fees are non-refundable.
What about COVID-19 and social gatherings?
We will be closely monitoring the situation at the event gets nears. We will let you know at least 7 days prior if we'll need to postpone this event. If you can't make the new date that's set, you can definitely get a refund!
