Hi TNN Community!

Did you know that The Nomadic Network x Nomadic Matt has a community non-profit?

Even with all the budget hacks and travel tips, the unfortunate reality is that economic and social circumstances make it much more challenging to travel and get out into the world, especially for young people.

FLYTE was created in 2015 to fill this gap and empower youth living in underserved communities through transformative travel experiences. We partner with high schools across the country to send students abroad so they can understand the enormity of the world and discover their power to change it for the better.

In the past 5 years, we’ve sent 70 students to Colombia, Guatemala, Ecuador, Cuba, and Mexico. These amazing youth come from all over the United States from small rural towns like Victor, Montana to bigger cities like Oakland, California.

We all had that one moment during our early travels that changed us. Whether that’s our first bite of street food, the awe when seeing a natural wonder of the world, realizing the privileged background we come from, or having that simple but profound understanding of how big and wonderful the world is. Through FLYTE we make these life-changing impacts of travel accessible to more and more young people.

During this time we’ll chat with Carmela Resuma, FLYTE’s Executive Director about all things FLYTE:
-- the history of how and why Matt started this foundation
-- inspiring student stories
-- how incredible donors have made an impact
-- intriguing stories from our student trips overseas
-- community partners and how they've contributed to our success
-- how we’ve been impacted by recent COVID19 events
-- how you can get involved!

Plus, Carmela will be answering any questions you have. I hope you've heard about FLYTE before and want to come to learn more. If you haven't heard about FLYTE, now is the time.

It's such an incredible non-profit and Carmela is so passionate about the whole organization - it's fun to hear her gush over FLYTE.
