DescriptionWhat I wouldn't give to ask some of my favorite authors questions about their books... I mean, really, how often do we get to discuss a book we've read with the actual author?
Well, since I'm home and around - I'm thought I'd offer that experience to you. I'm going to host a lunchtime book talk about my latest memoir, Ten Years a Nomad: A Traveler’s Journey Home.
In case you're not familiar, this book is a memoir about my ten years traveling and backpacking the world, philosophy on travel, and the lessons I learned that can help you travel better. It takes you on a trip around the world from start to finish: getting the bug, the planning, setting off, the highs, the lows, the friends, what happens when you come back — and the lessons and advice that come with all that. It is my opus on travel.
Grab a mug of tea and join me in this virtual book talk. Honestly, I had to dig deep to write this book and it's one of the most personal writings I've ever attempted. So bring your questions about what happened in the book, the process for writing this book, or anything reading-, writing-, or book-related.
See you on May 14!
