Have you wanted to go on an extended travel adventure but just couldn’t find the time?

Have you ever been too scared to drop everything and leave - even though that’s what you actually want to do?

Ever think “that’s what college grads do, I missed my opportunity!”

Same with Catalina.

She always loved to travel but could only do it for two weeks at a time. This meant, as soon as she began to get a good feel for the destination - it was time to leave.

She never wanted to go because she found every corner of the world so fascinating, inspiring, beautiful, and even challenging.

She never missed her home, her belongings, her work, or her routine. She just wanted to travel.

For 10 years she dreamt of traveling around the world for an extended period of time solo, focusing on “going with the flow” and “living in the present moment.”

The perfect time to make such a drastic life change of leaving a career of 17 years just didn’t exist. So right before her 40th birthday, she took the plunge and left - solo.

Join Catalina in this event to learn how she planned her grand escape, some of her most cherished travel experiences, and the biggest learnings from traveling solo around the world at 40 years old.

CATALINA is a passionate world traveler, blogger, and photographer who has traveled to 54 countries and is always planning her next adventure. She enjoys experiencing other cultures and creating new memories with others along the way. After traveling the world solo for two years, she transitioned from a career in Logistics to a career as a Tour Director.  When she is not traveling for work, you can find her traveling for pleasure, hiking, working on her photography, or writing.
