What's your traveler footprint?

Let's unpack your racialized baggage.

While 2020 slowed down physical travel, it has offered all of us an opportunity to engage in intentional conversations about social issues and injustices in our own backyards and around the world. As we witness unification through protests, we have a chance to reflect on our personal and communal contributions to systems of oppression like racism, sexism, ableism, heterosexism, etc.

In this session, we will explore ways to interrogate our individual racial bias, prejudicial behaviors, and learn practical ways for becoming more authentic, equitable, and inclusive global citizens that thoughtfully consider the impact you have in the communities you reside in and visit around the world.

DENISHA "NEENA" JENKINS, Founder of Kardia Advisory Group (http://kardiaaustin.com), is an Equity and Inclusion Consultant, Speaker and Anti-Racism Educator based in Austin, Texas. For the last 13 years, she has been dismantling oppressive systems and elevating justice in the private and public sector.

She's an avid traveler and entrepreneur that leverages her interdisciplinary training and lived experiences to help people unlearn and disrupt the bias that hinder authentic inclusion. Denisha is on a mission to restore humanity - one leader, one community, and one encounter at a time.
