Is being a travel writer a dream job?
Yes... and no.
David will discuss the ins and outs, the up and downs, and the behind-the-scenes happenings of the life of a travel writer.
DAVID FARLEY writes about food and travel for the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, BBC, Newsweek, and National Geographic, among other publications. He's the author of "Underground Worlds: a Guide to Spectacular Subterranean Places" and "An Irreverent Curiosity: In Search of the Church's Strangest Relic in Italy's Oddest Town," which was made into a documentary by the National Geographic Channel. He's taught travel writing at NYU, Columbia University, and currently teaches an online writing course on NomadicMatt.com.
