Whew, 2020! For those of us that are called to explore, define ourselves as nomadic, or even just relish in our yearly vacation, 2020 has been tough.

For Bailey, this year she was marking The Mongol Rally, a 10,000+ mile overland adventure across Europe and Asia, off her bucket list. And then, for the first time in the rally's 16-year history, it was cancelled due to coronavirus. After moping for weeks, inspiration struck while she was doom scrolling on Instagram - what better way to prepare for the rally next year than do a virtual version this year!

As you've surely heard a million times, there are more ways than ever to connect. In this session, learn how to explore the world and meet amazing people from your office chair, loveseat, or bed.

Join Bailey Reutzel, a journalist and media professional, who's been learning all about "traveling" from home during her virtual overland adventure. She'll cover the best ways to explore the world from home, how to plan for your next adventure, and where to connect with people that expand your sense of awe and wonder.

While many of us are just waiting for lockdowns to ease to purchase a plane ticket, there are others that don't have the ability to travel because of money, work, health, etc. This session is meant for anyone and everyone in between.

BAILEY REUTZEL is based in New York City - when she's not in her car, on a plane, or taking a train. She's a multimedia journalist and media professional, that's been mainly focused on finance and tech, especially the overlap of the two: cryptocurrency. She's been lucky that her career has given her the opportunity to pursue her true passion: traveling and more so, investigating new cultures in an effort to understand the full breadth of the human experience. She's traveled extensively around the world and in the U.S., where she completed a six-month, 48-state drive, dubbed Moneytripping, with just a loaded Ford Escape. She's also a poet.
