Description
"Saving for retirement" is a common phrase thrown around when your starting and growing your career. Lots of people plan to travel the world once they stop working. They have big plans to go to all the places they wanted to while they were working, but didn't have the time.
However, how many people actually do what they want when they get to retirement age?
We don't know that number, but what we do know...
PATRICK & IRIS ARE!
And they're coming to share their knowledge, experience, and encouragement with us.
Since May 2017, this retired couple has left home and traveled over 300,000 miles, visiting about 40 countries and staying in over 290 cities on every continent — except Antarctica!
They love their lifestyle and are happy to share the good, the bad, and the ugly with others who are curious. They hope to inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
This session will cover:
— Patrick & Iris' journey
— Description of their nomadic lifestyle
— How they travel as a retired couple
— Pros and cons of their nomadic lifestyle
— Encouragement for others to emulate their retirement plan!
PATRICK & IRIS STONE (aka The Tripping Stones) are both retired — Patrick from running a small business and Iris from a corporate job. During their working years, they always lived comfortably and traveled the world, while also saving money for the future. They were lucky to make some investments that have paid off and now bring them some income during their retirement. In May of 2017, they sold their home, got rid of their belongings, and started their international nomadic lifestyle and haven't looked back.
