Advocate for a more inclusive world through travel!

Diversity and inclusion has become a hot topic, but how do you incorporate allyship into your day-to-day life, as well as your travels? Join us for our event that will bring together several tourism-related projects designed to help travelers take action and advocate for a more inclusive world through travel.

Attendees will:
— Gain a deeper understanding of diversity from a multi-faceted perspective
— Learn about specific examples of diverse-owned businesses around the world
— Explore ideas on steps to incorporate allyship in your travel experiences, even from home

Our speakers include:
— Rebekah Jarvey (airbnb.com/experiences/2191083), a self-proclaimed Indigenous fashionista and fourth-generation beader and sewer
— Stephanie Jones, the CEO and founder of National Blacks in Travel & Tourism Collaborative (blacksintravelandtourism.org)
— Catarina Rivera, the co-founder of ExplorEquity (explorequity.com) and creator behind Blindish Latina (instagram.com/blindishlatina).

The goal is that attendees will leave with actionable insights as well as inspiration to support diverse-owned, impactful businesses.

We're asking our community of travelers to go beyond learning about impactful travel and actively participate!

This month, we’re challenging you to support a diverse-owned, impactful business this month. The business you support is up to you – it can be Black-owned, Indigenous-owned, LGBTQ+ owned, owned by a woman (BIPOC encouraged), or owned by a person with a disability. Part of the fun is exploring what diversity means to you!

When you participate, you’ll help us to advocate for a more diverse and inclusive travel industry. Let us know where you go, and how much you spend, and we’ll aggregate a total dollar amount across all submissions and share the final amount at the end of February.

If just 500 travelers within our community spend $10, you’ll be a part of a community that’s invested $5,000 directly into diverse-owned businesses! Learn more and participate.
