Description

Have you ever wanted to travel solo?

Worried about how you'll make friends? Meet people?

Concerned about if you'll have to spend your whole trip talking to yourself?

That doesn't have to be the case!

When I went out on my first solo trip, I was fascinated by the way budget backpacking seemed like a rite of passage. A tradition to create a unique travel experience, and share backpacker knowledge that is passed down from traveler to traveler over many years.

Join me on a discussion around the lessons I have learned from being a solo backpacker, and how this unique travel style can mold your travel experience, and in turn has made me a more confident and inspired traveler.

We will explore the idea that even while traveling alone, you are never really alone. How these connections can lead to so many doors opening like future work, learning new traits and practices, and even lead to the most memorable travel adventures.

JOEL SEROT is a high-energy, experienced solo backpacker, blogger, and storyteller. My travel site "Globetrot Serot" follows my adventures traveling in Latin America, and sustainable travel practices on farms across the United States. I started my travel blog with a goal to build a community of adventure-seekers, connected by their passion to see more, do more, and share more, with like-minded individuals from all over the world.
