Description

When you're planning a trip, you might find yourself trying to cram every hotspot and attraction in during your time there. While it can be exciting to visiting a new city every other day — it's also really nice to just relax and enjoy a place for a while.

No, we're not suggesting moving abroad and staying put (though that could be an option). Rather, we're talking about booking your ticket, making loose plans, and figuring out the rest out as you go.

Our speaker Christina recently spent more than two years slow traveling through South America with her husband and kids. She'll be sharing all that she's learned so you can too.

Join us to learn:

  • Benefits of slow travel
  • Best countries for extended stays
  • What & how to budget for slow travel
  • Balancing working while traveling (if you happen to be able to work remotely as you go)
  • Tips for immersing yourself in whichever community you find yourself in

There's an art to slow travel. It takes practice and patience. In the end, it can be very rewarding.

Christina McEvoy is an adventure traveler who just returned from 2.5 years of slow traveling across South America with her husband and two kids. Christina and her family are passionate about sustainable travel, the outdoors, and helping other families explore off-the-beaten-path. Additionally, she coaches travel creators on how to get paid to travel, previously presented at TNN on the wildly popular topic "How to Get Paid to Travel with Less Than 10k Followers", and has helped over 500 travel creators in her members-only community make their dreams a reality working with brands and destinations across the world.
