The Nomadic Network is hosting a travel happy hour meetup with Caroline, Ali, Rana, and Ryan from our Monterey Bay Chapter!  Let's have fun together – learning, growing, exploring ... and of course, eating as well! This is yet another INTERNATIONAL POTLUCK at East Village Cafe! Bring what you can (it does not need to be fancy). If you can't bring anything, no worries – you'll be covered! We’ll also hear from one another about recent trips and suggestions on how to travel better. Feel free to invite your friends. This is a family-friendly event (that’s why it’s so early)! Fun Fact: One of Monterey Bay's Chapter Leaders Ryan owns East Village Cafe and the shop Maybe on Monday nearby, which sells handcrafted and direct trade masks, sculptures and art from his native country Nepal. With East Village Cafe, Ryan celebrates the “east” in "East Village" with authentic chais, Himalayan art, and mindful attention to detail -- including a colorful Nepalese tuktuk in the main room. ••• If you’re new to The Nomadic Network, we’re a chapter-based organization created by NY Times bestselling author and expert budget traveler blogger Nomadic Matt. We host in-person and virtual events for travelers around the world as well as group tours. Our mission is to connect travelers to people and resources that get you traveling cheaper, better, longer, and more! At TNN, it makes us happy to introduce great people to great people. And let’s face it, travelers are some of the greatest people. That’s why we’ve formed this traveler network after all. Our favorite part of the night is when we do icebreakers that help you make as many new travel friends as possible. Have you ever been at a party and wished you could have met even more new, fun, interesting people? Name tags and icebreakers make it easy to do that. Super casual, meet new friends, share about travel experiences, and have a drink or two. We’ll have name tags and you’ll be able to order a drink or snack at the venue. This event is open to travel lovers of any kind, so bring a friend, partner, or cool co-worker with you. Hope to see you soon!
