Traveling through Cambodia is awesome. But traveling through rural Cambodia behind the handle bar of an actual tuk-tuk is thrilling! Dare someone to call you “unadventurous” after you complete such a feat! Only a handful of people participate in the Cambo Challenge – the ultimate Cambodia adventure holiday for true adventure seekers — each year. Put on by Large Minority, this adventure race takes you through mostly rural Cambodia, driving a tuk-tuk from challenge to challenge! In 2019, two sisters inspired by the US show “The Amazing Race” became a team in the Cambo Challenge. Jane and Jean Ellen left their homes in Orlando and Phoenix to spend a week driving through Cambodia in a tuk-tuk of their own. The Cambo Challenge gave them an up-close view of the local people of Cambodia and some great insights to their culture. It was a great way to dip their toes in what is known as "adventure traveling," and Large Minority does a fantastic job of bringing travelers together to build community and span countries in a small group tour. Join us to learn:
      • Why they chose to participate in the Cambo Challenge
      • What to expect if you're participating in an adventure race
      • What to pack
      • How much it costs to participate
      • What qualifications you need to enter
      • What it was like adventuring through Cambodia together & hear stories from the road
WATCH THE PRESENTATION ABOUT THE SPEAKERS Jane Stump is a mother of four who lives in Orlando, FL. She has traveled many times to Thailand, several times to Europe, and dreams of many more trips (to Europe and Asia). Jean Ellen Schulik lives in Phoenix, AZ and has spent most of her travels in Eastern Europe. Both sisters have a passion for seeing the world and having adventures, and will likely be back in a tuk-tuk shortly for another race around a new country while doing a Large Minority trip!
