A Guide to Moving to France

      Forum Description

Scene in France with river down the center, beautiful old buildings along the edges with trees and blue sky. Text reads "A Guide to Moving to France with Stephen Heiner" next to a headshot of Stephen, a man with dark hair in a gray shirt. White Nomadic Network logo.

Did the pandemic lead you to question where you were living and why? How about the impending recession? Believe it or not more people than ever before have made decisions to move somewhere else in the last couple years!

Domestic moves in a country of your own citizenship have their own challenges, but aren’t nearly on the level of international moves in which you don’t speak the language and often don’t have a lot of guidance. A lot of people face that barrier and say, “Maybe later.”

But if you want to overcome that barrier and get some ideas and tips from someone who has helped hundreds of people pursue a dream of living in France, you’ll want to attend this talk by Stephen Heiner. The Founding Editor of The American in Paris blog, Stephen has spent almost a decade in France now and he recently released a book with two other co-authors offering a step-by-step guide on moving to France.

      Join us to learn

      • The basic mindset you need when dealing with French immigration
      • The types of visas you might consider when applying and their difficulty level
      • The truth about the likelihood of your finding employment in France
      • Whether you can have a remote job and work in France
      • What timelines you should expect when applying for a visa
      • What you need to do to prepare for your move to France

      …and much more!

He’ll also have some complimentary digital copies of the book to give away, but only to those who are TNN+ members.
