      Forum Description

barcelona more than a party city Posted: 12/8/2021 | December 8th, 2021 Barcelona is long known for its beaches and parties, but the Condal City has so much else to offer. Strategically located between France and the rest of Spain, Barcelona is the perfect spot to get the best of the Costa Brava, mountains, and city scene all in one! Join Flavia of LatinaTraveler, a resident of Barcelona, as she goes beyond what most people see and do when visiting her city. With her insight as a tourist turned local, she’ll help you find those lesser known gems to keep you exploring regardless of your budget! During this session, we’ll discuss:
      • What to see beyond the usual tourist spots
      • Unique spots to explore
      • How to maximize your days and budget when visiting
      • Budget-friendly ways of getting to and from the airport
      • Best photo spots around the city
      • Free things to do in Spain
WATCH THE REPLAY ABOUT THE SPEAKER Flavia Cornejo Vargas is the bilingual travel content creator behind Latina Traveler. She’s a proud Peruvian American currently based in Barcelona, Spain. She originally moved to Barcelona to obtain her master’s degree, but has no plans on leaving this sunny city behind anytime soon. Flavia has been traveling all her life and is currently on a mission to visit more than 30 countries before she turns 30. She has two left and only 3 months to accomplish her goal. In addition to visiting well known destinations, Flavia also loves discovering less visited gems. Mainly a solo traveler, Flavia believes every woman should try solo travel at least once in their life. When she’s not off traveling, she’s usually at the gym, catching up with friends over a glass of tinto de verano and patatas bravas, or planning her next escape. Connect with Flavia:
