TNN: What It's Like To Teach English in Oman

      Forum Description

      Hey everyone,

I wanted to share another video from a recent Nomadic Network event. This one is all about “What It's Like To Teach English in Oman (& South Korea)”.

Oman is an emerging travel destination that is quickly moving up people's list of places to visit. It has been voted one of the safest destinations in the world for the past few years. Nicole has been fortunate enough to call the Pearl of Arabia her home for going on 7 years while teaching English.

She also lived in South Korea for 3 years prior to moving to Oman.

      In this talk, Nicole discusses:

      • How she began teaching English abroad
      • Tips on how to apply for ESL teaching positions in Oman and South Korea
      • What's it like living in Oman as a single woman
      • How she has been able to travel to almost 50 countries while living abroad
      • Destinations not to be missed on a visit to Oman

She is the author of "A Guide to Landing an English Teaching Job Abroad" and the Co-Founder of the I Luv 2 Globe Trot travel site and community. With features in the Guardian, BBC Travel, Forbes, and National Geographic Traveler she'll continue to inspire as she globe-trots!

Connect with Nicole via her blog, Instagram, Facebook, Facebook group, Twitter, and her book.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

      Sincerely,

      Matt
