What is the country or city that made you fall in love with traveling?

London - I took my first solo trip when I was 18 and loved the freedom of hopping on trains and being able to walk far and wide to see and do whatever I wanted to.

What's your best budget travel hack or tip?

Buy breakfast and snacks from local grocery stores. I prefer to spend my food budget at dinnertime and to save money by buying things like pita bread and hummus or a cut salad from grocery stores to eat for lunches and snacks.

If you could travel anywhere (regardless of time and money) where would you go? Why?

I would travel to Kenya, where my parents are from, to experience the different cities and towns where they lived and also to enjoy a safari.

What's the most surprising mode of transportation you've used?

Cycle rickshaw in India.

When do you start packing for a trip? A month, week, day, or hour in advance!

I start thinking about what I need to purchase or take with me a few weeks prior, but the real packing doesn't happen until a few days before the trip.
