Travel Non-Profits That Make a Difference

We love #GivingTuesday because after the mass consumption of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it’s a great reminder for all of us to think outside ourselves and support our favorite non-profits.

#GivingTuesday is a movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world. It reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and generosity.

Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. GivingTuesday was born and incubated at the 92nd Street Y and its Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City. GivingTuesday is now an independent nonprofit and a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

This GivingTuesday TNN event will be hosted by the Executive Director of FLYTE, Carmela Resuma. She will be highlighting some of the small, local non-profits making a difference in the travel world, more specifically bringing equity to the travel space.
